Dragonbird

The little Dragonbird's egg fell out of the nest. Now it is trying to follow the lost family up the magic mountain. 

But be aware - when the calm and warm sun goes down the magic mountain channels its power and transforms the path into an icy nightmare with wintery storms.

Help the dragonbird to pass through Sun and Storm!

Will you be able to challange the winter? 

There is a whisper in the wind and monsters are allready lurking in the corners. Can you light up the fire and grow the dragonbird to achieve it's firey beath? (upcoming?)

Control:

Move to the side: A-Key & D-Key
(Leftarrow, Rightarrow)

Move up and down: W-Key & S-Key
(Uparrow, Downarrow)

Devlog/Ideas:

- Due to missing time with fulltime working, a 3yo toddler and a vacation that even cuts the little hours left by 2 days i had to do some adaptations ;) but here are some ideas i originally planned to involve and how i developed the little game.

1. Summer/Winter cycle was planned to be:
- Fruits and points in the Summer (and winter due to time ;))

- Fight enemies in the Winter
- Shop abilities with the points out of summer, like shoot projectiles, upgrade to multiple projectiles, more damage, more life etc.

--> I cut the whole enemy stuff to shorten the time ;) could be done later?

2. I created my first ever blender 3D Project with the bird! YEAH!
- I blocked out, sculptured, painted, rigged and animated the damn thing. All a first time. So thats probably what eat the most time, but i realy learened a lot for the future!!!

3. Add some basic sounds and music to get more atmosphere
- Add a sunny forest sound to the summermap
- Add a stormy wintersound to the wintermap
- Add a basic collect sound

- Add shaders to darken (winter)/enlighten (summer) the scenes
- Add more unique sounds

4. Add more levels and a small story

Those are probably the most basic ideas that i had in mind while developing. Posting this 2 days early now due to an upcoming vacation ;)
